Magnetic transporting equipment is used in high speed rod factory of steel and iron industry, installed in the front of cold shear. Rod is attracted by inner magnetic plate and transported to be under the cold shear as per appointed speed. Which achieves strictly controlling rod cut length, the cut length error is ±5mm (national standard GB1499.1-2008 and GB1499.2-2007 are ±25mm), the rate of rod quality is improved greatly.
Magnetic Transporting Equipment
Magnetic transporting equipment consists of base, body and grate bar, which can be separated, it is easy to install and maintain.
Main body consists of magnetic plate, non-magnetic plate and driving part;
Magnetic plate adopts reasonable magnetic circuit structure to generate strong attracting force on magnetic attracting surface, max. magnetic field strength can reach at 5000Gs, non-attracting surface has no magnetic leakage, it is easy to assemble and safety;
Driving part consists of driving pulley, driven pulley, regulating pulley, chain and driving motor, the tightness of chain can be adjusted by regulating pulley to make equipment be in good operation state.
Surface of magnetic plate adopts high wear-resistance material; wear resistant and long service life.
Start and stop of Magnetic transporting equipment are controlled by signal of cold bed, when rod is transported to cold bed, operation of chain plate is driven by start of driving motor, rod is transported to chain plate by cold bed, and attracted by magnetic plate in chain plate, then rod is transported to cold shear as per appointed speed. Magnetic plate generates strong magnetic force to attract rod, rod can’t appear relative movement when it moves and is sheared, and thus rod cut length is controlled accurately.
Magnetic transporting equipment is used for rolled piece such as hot rolled deformed bar, plain carbon steel, superior carbon steel and low alloy steel etc. which can meet section dimension of rolled piece Φ10～60mm.
